Position Overview:

As the Sr. Technical Program Manager at P2P.org, you will deliver high quality, scalable products deployed around the world, develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects. Successful candidates will have a technical background, be detail driven and have excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our internal teams to understand their bespoke tooling needs
  • Lead and manage technical programs to improve the customer experience for P2P.org users and scale our operations
  • Work closely with the software development, site reliability engineering, and product teams. Collaborate with all cross functional teams to deliver and maintain the best product with the most efficient use of resources and technologies
  • Work with all the stakeholders to assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects by meeting project milestones
  • Assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints and encourage risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefit
  • Estimate work efforts, design project plans, define milestones and manage resources, while driving adherence and compliance
  • Manage technical backlogs, and effectively prioritize work items (including new features, bugs, tech debt, etc.)

Requirements

  • Experience in product and team management as a Technical Program Manager of 5+ years (preferable: fintech or web3 companies)
  • Leadership experience and willingness to take responsibility as lead of people
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical or business field
  • 3+ years of experience managing technical product or program management across cross-functional teams, including software development and site reliability engineering, building processes and coordinating release schedules and/or engineering operational excellence
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • Experience in site reliability engineering, software architecture, and system design
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to scale the businesses and provide reporting to senior leadership
  • Strong sense of ownership, including an ability to promote operational excellence
  • Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
  • Fluent English
  • Experience with GCP, OCI, AWS, and Bare Metal system, services and design patterns
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
