Responsibilities

  • Administer and Optimize Atlassian Tools: Manage, configure, and optimize Jira and Confluence Cloud environments to meet the evolving needs of the business.
  • Develop Automation Scripts: Create and maintain Groovy and Python scripts to automate routine tasks, workflows, and processes within Jira and Confluence.
  • Gather and Analyze Requirements: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective Atlassian solutions.
  • User Support and Training: Provide expert support and training to users, ensuring they are able to fully leverage Atlassian tools.
  • Integration Management: Manage and integrate Jira and Confluence with other tools and systems used within the organization.
  • Ensure Best Practices: Implement and enforce best practices for Jira and Confluence usage, maintaining a high standard of data quality and security.

Requirements

  • Atlassian Expertise: Extensive experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence, particularly in their Cloud versions.
  • Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Groovy and Python for scripting and automation within the Atlassian ecosystem.
  • Certifications: Atlassian certifications are highly desirable.
  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to gather and analyze requirements, with experience in business analysis being a significant advantage.
  • Experience in Tech Environments: Prior experience working in technology-focused environments, particularly with a focus on system administration and process optimization.
  • English Proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
