Responsibilities
- Make journal entries for the acceptance of purchases inclusive of VAT
- Perform accrual entries based on information provided by responsible employees of other departments
- Make depreciation and amortization entries
- Perform equipment control and maintenance of equipment register in Jira (including P2P Cyprus)
- Make entries to write off subscriptions
- Revaluation of bank accounts
- Issue invoices for sales (and other income, as applicable) (around 40-60 per month), including intercompany and related party invoices
- Make payroll entries based on the provided tax inclusive calculation (approximately 150 employees)
- Track all personal expense reimbursement requests: approval in accordance with company policy, collection of all necessary supporting documents, calculation of amounts to be reimbursed provided to payroll accountant/outsourcer (approximately 150 requests per month)
- Maintain accounting database (chart of accounts, any process automation, etc.)
- Coordinate, verify, adjust accounting process (all daily transactions / journal entries) in accounting system
- Perform verification and reconciliation of all debtor/creditor/banking transactions
- Conduct statutory audit/external consultations
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of IFRS
- Knowledge of Cyprus statutory requirements is preferable
- Proven strong track record in setting and running payments process
- Experience in providing support to members and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in project management, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive projects forward
- Excellent result-driven, strategic mindset and outstanding communication skills
- Fluent or native English
